Established in 1959 as a small private school serving children with learning challenges, Valley Forge Educational Services has grown to become a multi-faceted not-for-profit corporation with a specific mission. VFES is governed by an independent Board of Trustees and managed by a highly skilled Leadership Team. VFES is located in Malvern, PA on a twenty-eight acre campus.
On Friday, May 20, 2011 at 7:00pm there will be a Special Concert for Special Children, at Alumnae Hall at Immaculata University-1145 King Rd. The concert will be conducted by Philadelphia’s own Rosalind Erwin, and will feature the artistry of well-known soloists Rich Ridenour on piano and Brandon Ridenour on trumpet as well as a 42 piece orchestra comprised of renowned musicians. There will also be a special musical appearance by a student from VFES’ Vanguard School.
Proceeds from the event will support VFES’ programs for environmental learning and extracurricular activities. Educating the child outside of the regular school classroom is extremely important and provides unique opportunities for practical learning not found in a school setting or in the home. Concertgoers will have the opportunity to view and purchase works by distinguished artists as this concert is being held in conjunction with the 28th Annual Art Show at Immaculata University.
